Residents had a big smile on their faces today as they video called their loved ones.
Wendy, our Activities Coordinator and one of our Residents got their hats on a sunny day, ready for Wear a Hat Day raising money for Brain Tumour Research.
We still managed to put a smile on our Residents’ faces on Mother’s Day even though many were unable to see their loved ones on this special day. Wendy, our Activities Co-ordinator, loaded up her trolley and went into each ladies room with luxury chocolates, cupcakes and Mother’s Day cards from the Oakwood House Team. Many of the ladies said what a lovely idea it was.
Shirley and Wendy went around with the tea trolley this afternoon, old-fashioned tuck shop style, to encourage Residents to choose their own cakes, biscuits, fruits and a variety of milkshakes and juices.
