Recent Activities for Care Homes

Monday, 4th November
We kicked off the week with a visit from our talented hairdresser, Ann, who gave our residents a fabulous makeover. In the afternoon, our bingo session had everyone on the edge of their seats, with plenty of winners and laughs!

Tuesday, 5th November
Our residents took a stroll through our beautiful garden to admire the autumn leaves, embracing the season’s charm. Later, Wendy led a lively sing-along, where our residents were encouraged to sing, dance, and let loose in a joyful celebration of music.

Wednesday, 6th November
In the morning, our residents got creative with fireworks-themed crafts, making beautiful, colourful displays to celebrate the season. In the afternoon, Hank the singer visited, serenading our residents with some timeless tunes that had everyone tapping their feet.

Thursday, 7th November
Our morning flower arranging session was a hit, with residents designing gorgeous arrangements to brighten up the home. In the afternoon, friendly competition ensued as our residents engaged in a variety of games, fostering fun and laughter in the lounge.

Friday, 8th November
Our residents enjoyed a peaceful garden walk in the morning, taking in the fresh air. In the afternoon, Sally led a music and movement session, helping residents stretch, move, and enjoy the rhythm of the music.

Saturday, 9th November
Creativity was in full swing as residents engaged in scrapbooking in the morning, reminiscing about special memories while crafting. Later, we had a film-themed afternoon, where our residents relaxed and watched some classic films together.

Sunday, 10th November
Amalia provided lovely manicures for our residents in the morning, ensuring they felt pampered and cared for. The afternoon was a laid-back “Social Sunday,” giving residents the chance to unwind and chat with their friends.

Upcoming Activities for Care Homes

Monday, 11th November
Ann, our beloved hairdresser, returns in the morning to give our residents their weekly fresh styles, followed by another exciting bingo session in the afternoon.

Tuesday, 12th November
The morning will be filled with fun word games, stimulating the minds of our residents. In the afternoon, we’ll be welcoming back Nick Stephenson, who always brings joy and entertainment to our residents with his music.

Wednesday, 13th November
We will have a creative craft session with a remembrance theme, honouring the significance of the season. Our residents will have the chance to create thoughtful pieces to commemorate the occasion.

Thursday, 14th November
Flower arranging returns in the morning, followed by an afternoon sing-along session. It’s always a fun, uplifting experience where residents can sing their favourite songs and share a laugh.

Friday, 15th November
It’s time for a competitive “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” game in the morning—our residents always enjoy this exciting challenge! In the afternoon, Joe Smith will be coming in to lead a gentle exercise session, helping our residents stay active and healthy.

Saturday, 16th November
In the morning, we’ll engage in word-building activities, followed by an afternoon of reminiscing, where residents share stories, memories, and socialise with each other. It’s a wonderful way for everyone to connect and bond.

Sunday, 17th November
A peaceful morning walk through the garden awaits, followed by our relaxing “Social Sunday” afternoon. It’s the perfect way to wrap up the week in a calm, comfortable environment.
