Australia Day – Friday 16th October, 2020
G’day!
Yesterday we thought we would hop across the pond and have a day inspired by all things Oz!
The home was lovingly decorated by our Activities Coordinator, with bunting, signage to well-known Australian Landmarks and a couple of cheeky Roo’s!
Residents were amused to see Oakwood staff rushing around wearing Australian Bush Hats (complete with corks) and began their day testing their knowledge on the Country with a themed quiz.
Afternoon Singalong – Tuesday 6th October, 2020
With the weather outside delightful, the thought of staying in was frightful. We had a few guests to show, Graham Johns and Sean Moyses as Banjo….(man).
We took appropriate precautions to ensure Residents remained out of the sun and well hydrated.
