St. George’s Day – Friday 24th April, 2020

We celebrated St. George’s Day in style. We decorated our home with flags and bunting for St. George’s Day.

Residents enjoyed fish and chips for lunch followed by trifle which went down a treat! Staff also wore hats which put a smile on our Residents faces.

A big thank you from the Oakwood House Team to everyone who generously bought us chocolates, cakes and sweets. These were enjoyed by everyone!

We would like to kindly ask for Relatives and Friends to leave gifts for their loved ones to reception please. This will allow us to clean the items before we hand it onto our Residents. Thank you for your cooperation during these uncertain times.

Norfolk Broads Direct and Broads Tours generously donated over 200 Easter Eggs for our residents and staff – Sunday 12th April, 2020

A big thank you to Norfolk Broads Direct and Broads Tours, providers of boating holidays and river trips on the broads, for donating over 200 fabulous Easter Eggs for our residents and staff at Oakwood House.

These kind acts help keep up our resident and staff’s spirits during these uncertain times for us all. Residents have been designing Easter cards, Easter Egg trees, as well as eating tasty Easter treats, including chocolates and cakes

Gentle exercises in the afternoon – Wednesday 8th April, 2020

This afternoon our Residents have been enjoying doing some gentle exercises with Alysha. There was good music on in the background and Residents had a great time.
